About this event
College is often a season of possibility-and pressure: pressure to fit in, choose a path, project confidence, and become the person others expect. In The Masks We Wear, Simone Lagomarsino invites students to consider a more powerful question: Who are you when nobody is watching? Through candid stories, interactive exercises, and practical tools, Lagomarsino explores what it means to live authentically, recognize the distinctive strengths each person brings to the world, and make intentional choices grounded in personal values rather than comparison or peer pressure. Drawing on her own unexpected career journey from accounting to banking leadership, she shows that meaningful success is rarely about following a prescribed script. Students will leave with a practical framework for navigating consequential decisions, greater confidence in their unique contribution, and a compelling challenge: take off the mask, trust who you are, and become the author of your own story.
