About this event
The Pomona College Choir presents Handel’s best-loved work, Messiah, for the first time in nearly 20 years. Joined by extraordinary soloists Addy Sterrett, soprano; Hannah Little, alto; Adam Faruqi, tenor; John Buffett, bass; and professional period-instrument ensemble Harmonologia Pomona, this is a performance not to be missed! (Please note, this event is first-come, first-served with limited seating - arrive early to claim your seat.)
Pomona College’s choral tradition is a long and rich one, dating back to the College’s founding in 1887. Under the direction of Professor Donna M. Di Grazia, the choir boasts a membership of approximately 80-100 auditioned singers per semester, with student, faculty, and staff representatives from across the Claremont Colleges.
This program will repeat on Sunday, December 6 at 3 p.m.
