About this event
Dancing at Lughnasa is a memory play by Brian Friel set in 1936 rural Ireland. It follows the five unmarried Mundy sisters living in County Donegal. Narrated by the illegitimate son of one sister, the story captures a fleeting, bittersweet summer of liberation and passion before their family unit unravels.
