Lose yourself in the peaceful silence of the ocean, explore vibrant underwater sights, and make lasting memories with new dive buddies! This course provides everything you need to earn your internationally recognized Open Water Certification. Your certification journey includes:
• Pre-class e-learning course + dive logbook app
• Classroom review sessions
• Pool sess ions
• 3 boat dives at Catalina Island
• 1 beach dive
• All SCUBA gear provided
Transportation is not included, but carpooling is encouraged. To register, you must be able to attend all sessions. A 200m swim test and a 10-minute tread/float will be given during the class.
Course cost is $615 for UCR students and $700 for non-students. 6 spots available.
E-learning codes will be sent after signup and the online course must be completed before the first meeting day.
Registration ends the Monday before the course.
