Event Description

This no-cost , two-day event is focused on helping public agencies navigate operational, workforce, safety, compliance, and risk management challenges through expert-led discussions and peer networking. Attendees are welcome to join us for one or both days, depending on their area of interest.

• Day 1 – Public Works (Tuesday, 10/27) : Tailored for supervisors, directors, and others who manage risks associated with public works operations and field activities, topics include agency immunities, indemnity and insurance requirements, claims handling and management (e.g., dangerous conditions, tree-related incidents, etc.), and public works loss data and tools.

• Day 2 – Human Resources (Wednesday, 10/28): Designed for public-sector HR professionals and focuses on workforce, safety, and compliance issues impacting their organizations, sessions will cover IIPP and safety management, workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes, leave law updates, and opportunities for peer networking and discussion.

This Forum will take place at the Rancho Cucamonga Corp Yard in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Complimentary lunch/refreshments will be provided to attendees.
