The Second Take Cinema Club Lunch - Fatal Feasts

About this event

🎬 Second Take Cinema Club: Fatal Feasts @Prime Pizza

Two films. One unsettling theme about what happens when there isn't enough to go around - and who decides who gets fed.

We'll explore: 🍽️ Scarcity, survival, and who gets a seat at the table ⬇️ Class, hierarchy, and life at the bottom 💬 Whether people share when it really counts 🎬 How it works: Watch both movies on your own time, then join us as we grab some food and engage in some fun activities and a laid-back discussion. We'll give folks the first 30 minutes to order and settle in.

Haven't watched? No problem - come with questions, we'll catch you up!

Where do I find the films? Some places to look: * Soylent Green: rent on any major streaming rental service (Prime Video, AppleTV, Fandango, etc). * The Platform: Netflix (Spanish with English subtitles, or English dub).

🎬 What is Second Take Cinema Club? Every month, we pair two movies with something in common — a story, idea, genre, or theme — and dig into what makes each one tick. 🎞️ Two films. Different perspectives. 🍿 Watch beforehand — or come curious and we'll catch you up! 🗣️ Relaxed conversation. No film-school degree required. 🌍 Every month brings something different. Two films, one theme, new perspectives. Welcome to Second Take Cinema Club.
