The Southern California Chapter of the Parenteral Drug Association (SoCal PDA) will host its annual poster competition, featuring outstanding student research and providing an opportunity for KGI students and members of the biopharmaceutical industry to attend, view the posters, and engage with the presenters.

Join us for the final round of the Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) Student Poster Competition, an evening dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments, innovation, and professional growth of KGI students.

During this special event, finalists will showcase outstanding work and experiences from their summer internships, sharing their research, insights, and contributions with members of the academic and life sciences community. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage directly with the students, learn more about their work, and recognize the next generation of scientists and biopharmaceutical professionals.

The competition will culminate in the selection of the first-place poster competition winner, who will receive the opportunity to attend the 2027 PDA Annual Meeting, providing valuable exposure to industry leaders, emerging science, and the broader pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical community.

Attendees are invited to enjoy an evening of networking, student presentations, and celebration as we recognize these talented emerging professionals. This event reflects our continued commitment to supporting young professionals, creating meaningful connections between academia and industry, advocating for student development, and investing in the future of our industry.

We look forward to celebrating the students and their accomplishments with our PDA and KGI communities.

Wednesday, 4 November

6:00–6:30 p.m. – Welcome & Introductions

Opening remarks, introductions, and an overview of the evening’s poster competition.

6:30–7:30 p.m. – Poster Review, Discussion & Networking

Attendees and judges will have an opportunity to review the finalist posters, engage with the students about their work and internship experiences, and network with members of the KGI and life sciences communities.

7:30–8:00 p.m. – Closing Remarks

Closing remarks and recognition of the student finalists. The first-place winner will be announced following completion of the judging process, either during the event or through a follow-up announcement.
