About this event
Salsa is a fun, energetic, popular style of latin music and dance created and practiced by people all around the world. In this beginner class, you will learn the fundamentals of salsa dancing, including basic movements, timing, and cultural context. Whether you're an absolute beginner, or looking to strengthen your foundation, by the end of this class, you will be able to feel salsa music and have the skills to confidently step onto the dance floor ready to begin your social dance journey! No prior experience or partner necessary, just bring comfortable clothing and shoes. Sign up online or at the SRC front counter.
Wear loose comfortable clothing. NO JEANS -No refunds on classes unless class is cancelled by Recreation Class Manager -We do not pro-rate classes unless class schedule is modified by Recreation Class Manager -If registering online and are not a current student, please visit the front counter to obtain a facility access card on the first day of class.
