Trimming with Ursa Clay – Intermediate

About this event

A pottery workshop focused on ceramic finishing techniques — the next steps after throwing on the pottery wheel. Covers trimming processes, tool use, and finishing approaches. Attendees work with pre-made leather-hard clay pieces (~2 lbs per person) or may bring vessels from the beginner throwing class, with step-by-step guidance. Participants will not make any vessels in this class but will select colors for their chosen pieces; pieces may break or sustain damage during trimming. Wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, avoid loose sleeves/jewelry. Ages 10+ (minors need parent present). Free parking; refunds up to five days before the event.
