- ➤ The Fontana Planning Commission approved converting an old church building at Arrow Boulevard + Tamarind Avenue into Stoneridge Preparatory School. The facility will serve middle and high school students with online courses and personal coaching during a college readiness program, with scheduled repairs and improved access by WYF Architecture. - ➤ Dr. Alejandro Álvarez held a Meet-and-Greet at Bistro Cafe on Jan. 14 with over 150 families, staff, and civic leaders to introduce himself as Rialto USD's new superintendent. He plans to lead 3,000 employees and advance student success with support from local partners (including Rialto High culinary arts students). Inland Empire Community News

- ➤ At a special council meeting on Jan. 15, the city reviewed plans for a 200-bed navigation center aimed at helping nearly 40% of the county’s homeless population.
