- ➤ The Gray Arrow District Committee elected its new leadership team for 2026 on Jan. 8 in Redlands (including roles such as District Chair and Commissioner) to support Scouts and volunteer programs across the local area. Fontana Herald News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ San Bernardino County conducted its Homeless Point-in-Time Count on Jan. 22 at multiple sites to gather key data on residents in need. Over 100 volunteers served care packages and collected information that will guide plans for a West End Navigation Center (in discussions with Fontana) expected to progress in the next few months. - ➤ Ontario International Airport unveiled a new monument sign at Archibald Avenue and Airport Drive that features towering ‘ONT’ letters (each about 12 feet tall) to mark a decade of local control and transformation. The sign is part of the airport’s yearlong celebration of renewed energy and growth. Fontana Herald News
