CULTURE NEWS

  • Galaxy Nights: Valentine's Edition is a free, family-friendly astronomy event hosted by the County Library with Avantus and HiDAS, occurring Friday, Feb. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lucerne Valley Janice Horst Branch Library — attendees will enjoy interactive stargazing, themed crafts, and treats.  San Bernardino County
  • San Bernardino County Regional Parks will host the 5th annual California Days at Calico Ghost Town in Yermo on Feb. 14-15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.- families can enjoy historical reenactments, live music, games and food with tickets at $10 for adults and $5 for children.  San Bernardino County
  • Black Renaissance is on view at San Bernardino County Museum through March 1, presented by the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce and featuring art that honors Black creative voices, following a Jan. 31 reception at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands + drawing community and artist participation.  San Bernardino County

  • San Bernardino County mourns Sgt. Grant Ward, longtime president of the Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association, who died after battling cancer. He supported local law enforcement and leaves behind his wife and two daughters — a legacy of dedicated service.  San Bernardino County
  • The Office of Emergency Services reminds residents to update emergency plans and check supplies as forecasted warm days give way to cooler nights, rain and travel issues may affect various areas in our community.  San Bernardino County

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Advancing Community Care Conference will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 18 at the Rancho Cucamonga Events Center from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.—offering five CME credits for medical professionals while they discuss innovative community healthcare delivery and leadership that strengthen local Behavioral Health efforts.  San Bernardino County

LIFESTYLE NEWS
