CULTURE NEWS

  • Victrola Record Club launched its vinyl listening lounge at Stage Red in Fontana and sold out its first two events, uniting local music lovers with classic records. A Wednesday Vinyl Night is set for Apr. 8 at 7 p.m. for guests 21 and older.  Fontana Herald News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Fontana Planning Commission approved plans for two new industrial center buildings measuring 41,218 sqft and 30,767 sqft on sites north of Hilton Drive and west of Hemlock Avenue; on-site improvements will add parking, landscaping + updated traffic flow.  Fontana Herald News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Carl Burton, a cancer survivor, noticed a neck lump (taken seriously at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center) and soon received transoral robotic surgery to focus his treatment. He returned to running and recently won his age group at the Run Through Redlands 10K with his wife Valerie.  Fontana Herald News

SPORTS NEWS

  • The National Orange Show Speedway kicked off its 79th season on March 14 with upgrades + new walls modernizing the historic track. It will host a race on April 18 + a documentary premiere tomorrow at Regal Edwards Ontario Palace.  Inland Empire Community News
