- ➤ The Fontana Planning Commission approved plans for two new industrial center buildings measuring 41,218 sqft and 30,767 sqft on sites north of Hilton Drive and west of Hemlock Avenue; on-site improvements will add parking, landscaping + updated traffic flow. Fontana Herald News

- ➤ Carl Burton, a cancer survivor, noticed a neck lump (taken seriously at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center) and soon received transoral robotic surgery to focus his treatment.
