San Bernardino County’s In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority is seeking new and experienced caregivers to support older adults and people with disabilities.

The organization will host its second annual Caregiver Training Summit on Wednesday, Apr. 8 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Ontario (register by calling 1-866-985-6322).

San Bernardino County Animal Care hosted the Paws and Partners Collaboration Summit on March 31, where local rescue partners discussed initiatives such as the Bloomington center and Devore shelter expansion and toured the Animal Care Mobile Unit to learn about spay and neuter services.

City and county leaders celebrated the groundbreaking for the E Street affordable veteran housing project on March 25 in San Bernardino.

The $28.4 million project, with a $5 million county contribution, will include 30 homes with modern amenities and on-site services and is expected to open in 2027.
