HEALTH NEWS

  • A new pediatric transport helicopter now serves Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, expanding emergency care for critically ill or injured children across the region. Hospital officials said the aircraft will help reduce response times for advanced treatment.  San Bernardino City News Group
  • Community members and healthcare supporters gathered early in April at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital Gala to raise funds for pediatric care in the Inland Empire. The funds will support cancer treatment, prevention, and the expansion of advanced specialty services for children.  CityNewsGroup

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • San Bernardino housing advocate Robert Carrillo says his mixed-use project at 125 W. Baseline will include 32 modular residential units, micro-retail space, and amenities for transitional youth. Groundbreaking is planned for July with residents moving in early 2027, and he opposes a proposed McDonald's that would disrupt the corridor's vision.  Inland Empire Community News
