- ➤ San Bernardino County Regional Parks has prepared a new equestrian center at Mojave Narrows Regional Park. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 30 at 11 a.m. with free admission offered from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and light refreshments available on a first-come, first-served basis. - ➤ Highland Branch Library will debut its new weekly Farmers Market on Wednesday, Apr. 29 from 2 to 7 p.m. at 7863 Central Ave—partnering with the California Farmers Market Collective, the event will offer local produce, food vendors and an incentive where patrons checking out 15 items earn a custom tote bag. - ➤ On April 1 and April 8, San Bernardino County Probation’s Homeless Outreach Unit provided warm meals, clothing and hygiene items to community members in San Bernardino and at CityLink in Fontana, connecting people to essential housing and support services. San Bernardino County

- ➤ The San Bernardino Mountains hosted film productions since 1911 with silent shorts at Lake Arrowhead and feature films at Big Bear Lake, and they continue to draw filmmakers today. San Bernardino County
- ➤ The 109th National Orange Show Fair opened on Apr. 15 in San Bernardino and drew large crowds with its revamped layout — featuring carnival rides, live circus, food vendors, and local stage shows by Soul Pointe — and ran until Apr. 19. Inland Empire Community News
- ➤ San Bernardino County Library was honored as the region's first 'Best of the Best' library by Inland Empire readers. The library, serving diverse communities, will expand its literacy programs — including cultural events — and resources to connect residents. San Bernardino County

- ➤ Fontana Unified has expanded its CrisisAlert emergency response system to more campuses — while launching a spring break pilot at Wayne Ruble Middle School with Derek Fisher’s Be Better Foundation. - ➤ On April 8, the Public Defender’s Mobile Defense Program provided free legal aid and county services at The River’s Edge Ranch in Lucerne Valley; the program will return on Wednesday, June 10 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Chaffey College Chino Community Center. San Bernardino County

- ➤ Arrowhead Regional Medical Center appointed Andrea L. Daugherty as its inaugural chief information and digital transformation officer. She brings 15 years of digital health leadership plus expertise in expanding digital access and enhancing care for the community. San Bernardino County
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ City Council approved The Marketplace (8.18-acre site) anchored by Whole Foods at Lugonia Avenue and Tennessee Street in north Redlands on Feb. 17. Construction will begin late 2026 and the 71,400 sqft center is set to serve local residents and new housing projects when it finishes in 2028. Inland Empire Community News
