- ➤ The Women's Club will hold its final meeting before summer on May 21 and is asking members to donate $10—$15 gift cards to supply Bingo prizes for 18 Friday night games this summer, with each donation entering a special prize drawing. - ➤ Today, the CIELO Fund awarded $450K in grants to 40 organizations serving families facing high costs for essentials in Riverside and San Bernardino counties as well as Imperial County for the first time. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ On May 6, the Fontana Planning Commission unanimously approved a new project from The Previti Group to build a 29,280 sq ft flex building, a two-story office building with a private helipad, and a 119,200 sq ft storage facility on a 9.6-acre site (divided into four parcels) near the Interstate 15 freeway. The office building will become the group’s headquarters and the helipad will see a helicopter take off and land twice daily with noise offset by nearby freeway traffic. Fontana Herald News
