  • Regional Parks reopens swim complexes at Glen Helen and Yucaipa Park starting Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with swim season running through Memorial Day weekend. Visitors should arrive early due to capacity limits and separate park admission + swim ticket fees.  San Bernardino County
  • San Bernardino County Animal Care is asking residents to serve as short-term foster families for dogs before its Wings of Rescue flight on Friday, May 29.   • Gary Mumaw from Rancho Cucamonga shared vibrant photos of Providence Mountains State Recreation Area, where visitors can explore Mitchell Caverns and scenic trails.   • San Bernardino County Veterans Affairs launched an online tool for the CalVet College Fee Waiver that lets veteran dependents apply for waived college fees at state and community colleges + reduces processing times.   • San Bernardino County Public Works celebrated National Public Works Week this week by honoring teams who maintain roads, stormwater systems, and public safety.
