  • San Bernardino residents can enjoy a patriotic concert at San Bernardino Valley College on July 5 — the event features live music and ends with fireworks set to the 1812 Overture. They can also attend the Inland Empire 66ers game tomorrow at San Manuel Stadium, which includes a seasonal fireworks show.  Inland Empire Community News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On July 1, California enacted laws that expanded infertility treatment coverage to include IVF, added 988 hotline numbers to student IDs and required drink lids in bars to deter spiking. The new rules mandate clearer fee disclosures for short-term rentals and pet insurance, stricter enforcement of hands-free phone use and online retail theft measures, a statewide polystyrene ban and streamlined housing approvals—changes that reshape health care, consumer safety and employment policies statewide.  Inland Empire Community News
