- ➤ 600 students at Zimmerman Elementary in Bloomington received new backpacks and school supplies provided by Supervisor Baca, Assemblyman Garcia, and community partners last week; the backpacks were filled with notebooks, art supplies, and other essentials to help them start the school year on the right foot + local school officials and business volunteers worked closely to ensure every child was prepared for the classroom. This partnership eased the financial burden for families and continued the county's commitment to supporting local education. Inland Empire Community News
