  • At a recent City Council meeting on October 7, Ray Gomez—a longtime Colton resident and WWII veteran—received official recognition for his 100th birthday, honoring his service and community contributions.  CityNewsGroup
  • Every month, the Cars + Coffee event draws local car enthusiasts to the Walgreens parking lot on Barton + Mount Vernon in Grand Terrace at 8:00 a.m., where a range of vehicles from classic cars to race cars is on display.   • Dr. Marti Baum Hardesty was honored with a celebration of her life—held on September 27 at Loma Linda University Church—where friends and colleagues remembered her creative impact on programs that helped street kids and gang-involved youth. HEALTH NEWS

  • A $225,000 grant from Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Fighting Cancer will help Redlands Community Hospital build the new radiation therapy center across from its main building at 245 Terracina Blvd. The 7,364-square-foot center—designed for a new machine and scanner—will open in 2026 to expand cancer care.  San Bernardino City News Group
