  • An Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 220 led the repainting of a faded dinosaur display at the Jurupa Discovery Center this past weekend. His troop helped clean and repaint the sculpture—restoring its bright colors to improve the visitor experience.  San Bernardino City News Group
  • The 3rd Annual Fun Color Run will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Civic Center Amphitheater in San Bernardino, where participants can run, walk or dance—a two-mile course and enjoy music, food and festive festival powders at the finish line.  CityNewsGroup

  • Attorney Saloni Singh warned drivers that holiday crashes are rising and urged accident victims not to sign quick settlement deals before they fully know how hurt they are—she said her Riverside law firm rebuilds crash scenes to show all the damage, as seen in a recent case in Moreno Valley.   • Big Bear Alpine Zoo is hosting Alpine Zoo Wild Lights—its first immersive holiday light walk running now through Jan. 4th, 2026—that transforms the zoo’s trails into four themed zones lit by nearly two million LED lights and featuring key attractions like a 100-foot illuminated pine tree as part of a revenue-sharing partnership with Visit Big Bear and the County Board.  San Bernardino City News Group

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Redlands Conservancy’s Kids’ Nature Club will let children ages 3 to 7 and their caregivers explore nature on November 15 at Gateway Ranch—teacher Leslie Scofield will lead a Scat and Tracks hike along the Saha'tapa Loop Trail at 9:30 a.m. The free program is open to the public and offers hands-on learning with frequent stops for discovery.  CityNewsGroup
