- ➤ On Nov. 22nd, Rialto Unified reported that a nearly two-year forensic investigation into its Nutrition Services program found errors in meal counts during parts of the COVID-19 pandemic and summer feeding programs—leading to a $3 million penalty. District officials pledged to tighten financial controls and work with the California Department of Education to reconcile the discrepancies. Inland Empire Community News
