- ➤ Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino will host its 5th Annual Can Tree Wonderland: NY Rockin’ Christmas Edition on December 13th at the FARSB warehouse in Riverside from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Neighbors will build canned goods trees, vote on displays, join a gingerbread house contest, and enjoy a free NY-style pizza slice while donating to help fight food insecurity. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rialto City Council unanimously approved a $100K disaster relief fund from the general fund and community donations to help the roughly 70 residents displaced by the Vista View fire last Friday—local advocates and some residents continue to press for stronger tenant protections amid claims the landlord did not fulfill its legal duties. The Council will set a policy for fund distribution in its next session, though a state of emergency was not declared. Inland Empire Community News
