- ➤ The Salvation Army Angel Tree is inviting shoppers at Inland Center Mall and nearby Walmart to donate Christmas gifts for needy children until Dec. 22 and support 400 local families, said Major Adam Morales (local donations also include food items). San Bernardino City News Group
- ➤ Colton Rotary volunteers collected hundreds of unwrapped toys outside Walmart on South Mt. Vernon Ave and are accepting more donations through Dec. 15 at Inland Valley Insurance Agency on 183 W. - ➤ In the Inland Empire, rapid warehouse growth has raised concerns over noise and pollution that affect residents’ quality of life. The Perris City Council voted to draft a moratorium on Nov. 18, with the proposal set for review (Dec. 9) as the region weighs economic benefits against environmental risks. - ➤ Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino will host its 5th Annual Can Tree Wonderland—NY Rockin’ Christmas Edition on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2950-B Jefferson St., with a canned goods tree decorating contest offering a Santa photo op and free pizza.
