- ➤ Fontana City Council postponed its review of an appeal against a Planning Commission plan to merge six land parcels for building a nearly 400,000 square foot warehouse and will revisit the issue at its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14. - ➤ More than 8,600 Kaiser Permanente health care workers in the Inland Empire voted to let their union call a strike—if new contract terms on wages and patient care were not reached as contracts expired on Sept 30 and Oct 1.
